February 2007

Jack Gudenkauf and Jesse Kaplan finish up a great two part article in this month’s MSDN Magazine about the new System.AddIn namespace. It’s currently slated to ship with Orcas but there’s a CTP version available now. The framework team has put quite a bit of badly-needed effort into the plugin arena, so go over and learn y’self something new.

So this is it. A blog. And on the intertubes, no less.

I tried this once back in 2003 but I never had anything to say. Now that I regularly keep up with several .NET-related blogs I decided it’s time to try it again. If all goes well, this should become a source for all sorts of rants and raves about C# and .NET and the things I’m doing or have done with it. I don’t expect to be posting every single day so it’s also my personal blog for the time being. If I stick with it this time, I’ll probably split them up and let you pick one or both.

As with all things new, it may take some time to build this into a source of information worth visiting. In the meantime I appreciate you reading this and encourage you to check back at least weekly for updates!
